Our community has grown significantly over the last number of years. The pandemic has seen an influx of people moving to South Florida and our BRS community. This has created a housing challenge both in inventory and price.  

 

In an effort to continue expanding our community and broadening “The Circle,” we are excited to announce the BRS Fountains Minyan, a new Friday Night and Shabbos Afternoon minyan that will meet in the Fountains, outside of Roadhouse.

This location will enable those moving into Boca Pointe, as well as other developments east of Powerline, to be part of our BRS community throughout the week and on Shabbos and Yom Tov. Much like our thriving satellite, BRS West, has enabled us to grow a community of shared values and vision, this new satellite minyan will help us continue expanding the BRS community to a different geographic area. 

 

This minyan is directly aligned with our vision of growing “larger and smaller at the same time” and will begin as a minyan on Friday night and on Shabbos afternoon. It will begin outside of Roadhouse benefiting from the covered area, large fans, tables, and chairs. We are looking into indoor spaces that can safely accommodate the minyan as it grows and the weather changes.  

 

We are very grateful to the ownership group at Roadhouse for generously partnering with us and to Rabbi Dr. Gur Berman, Ari Beim, and our members in Thornhill Mews for working with us to seed and lead this new minyan. This BRS minyan will follow BRS minhagim and zmanim and will feature BRS rabbis delivering Divrei Torah on a rotating basis.
